Body for the Hardees car is all primed and ready for paint. I blended the from and rear bumpers into the body. I was really trying to reduce they step from the bumper to the front fender to give a smoother look. There is still a transition there just not that pronounced step. I will keep it primed while I build out the chassis so I can try to get the ride height set, then it will be off to the paint booth.   |

Good gravey I never get tired of seeing the DOT cars get build, I think I should do the set all over again just for the shits and giggles.
I think its neat seeing how popular they are after all these years.

Well the Hardee's car is all done and I will be off to the Exxon car next. I have not built a Lumina in years and boy are they a pain in some areas. I need to think about the best way to lower the car. I am still very happy to have this in my collection. I have a couple more photos in the NASCAR builds forum.  |
