242 artwork files for decal printing $500 (makes them $2.07 each which is roughly 94% discount of what I'd normally charge for an artwork file)
Alps MD5000 printer $300
Will sell all together for $725.

How do you run the alps? I have windows 7 so what would I need?

You need a PC running Win XP that has a printer port. The ALPS printers don't do very well with USB, and drivers are very finicky with anything newer than XP. Basically, you need a dedicated PC just to print.

Stoney..............So I have to get another older desktop that has Win XP? What about the other stuff I see with parallel cable or that stuff you see on ebay where you can run windows 10?

Printer port IS a parallel port. The drivers are NOT designed to work with anything newer than XP. Sometimes they will work, but it is more of a hassle than just having a dedicated printing PC. Same goes for trying to use a parallel to USB adapter. More trouble than what its worth.

If you don't have an older PC laying around, Craigslist and Goodwill are your best friends.
