Anyone see that Revell is producing the Ford GT with a March release date? I love Le Mans, look at my Toyota GT-One in the "Other Builds", so this on my build list. Found it on Hobby Link Japan's website. Can't find any info here in the States...go figure...Revell website has the street version, but not racing. hlj.com/product/REV07041 |

So, here is the low down, not my words, try and keep this info here please.
Basically RoG jumped the gun somehow by letting the info. out early. It's a Revell US kit, with engine/turbo detail (no idea how much), in 1/24th scale. No timeframe for release yet. Should be decent, at least as detailed as the (rather simple...) C7R kit, which most seem okay with. I'd be a bigger fan of the real car if the livery wasn't so red/white/blue lame. But it's a winning car, and should be a great seller if they don't fuck it up, and I'm sure SMS will have a big expensive detail set coming for it too. Since Revell uses Ford design data, I'd say the body should be properly proportioned.

Sweet an engine. I like the paint scheme. It will be nice setting next to a C7R.
