Just curious, I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but why the fuck do people think their kit decals are worth more than a couple dollars and try to sell them? I've seen sheets listed on Facebook or eBay for like $10-12 for a full complete sheet, and have seen people trying to sell partials for $8. Just never saw the allure and am curious if I am alone thinking this. I usually use mine for scraps or for grill tape. Thoughts guys?

I would have to agree with you. It's a mystery why so many think that kit decals are worth that kind of asking price. If I have a set of kit decals that I'm not using and someone needs a set I'm more willing to just give them away if need be.

No, I have to agree completely, it baffles me the asking price on some of those sets. Particularly kit decals from 25 years ago?!! And then charging money for a partial decal set? WTH??!! I'm totally with you Wayne, if I have an old set that I have no use for, and someone else does, it's theres.

Thank you for the sanity check. I remember seeing someone on Facebook selling the Chase Elliott sheet or the Harvick one for $12 and I about fell out of my chair. Especially after paying $9 more for the full kit.

It's amazing the amount of truly dumb people Facebook has allowed to have a voice in this world. I see some of the posts over on the FB page and just shake my head and laugh.
The $10 kit sheet posts are hilarious, people still trying to paint plastic models with shit hardware store paint, "HEY LOOK A DARNICA MODEL NOT SMASHED.....DUR THAT AINT RITE.....", "Hey who makes this decal shee......CHECK MIKES HE GOT IT!!"
It's never-ending.
I don't have an FB account, but I check Billy's Nascar page from time to time just to be nosy, honestly, (Especially when Jay was building the SS boxart car) and to see what's going on in the modeling world since forum traffic has been down more and more the past 3-5 years with FB ruining them. BAD went away, the other place pushed a lot of people away the constant love affair of the same 3-4 assholes, but this place thankfully has been slowly gaining traction and popularity.

As for selling the kit decals for whatever amount, there's a sucker born every minute. If someone is willing to pay >$10 (plus shipping, of course) for decals out of a $20 kit, let them waste their money.
