Figured i do a wip from time to time lol. here in puerto rico my modeling bench isnt really up to snuff so keep that in mind 
.
I like fernando alonso and after watching the Spanish gp last year where he won and drove around the track holding the Spanish flag just like Ayrton Senna use to do i knew that i had to have a model of that!
So i figured fujimi would make the kit since the last 3 ferrar's were modeled by them and low and behold they did. it was released in February and i ordered one from hlj.com.
The Spanish gp had very small changed from the Chinese gp fujimi did so i was able to move forward.
All the parts minus the suspension and engine trees were molded in red which posed an issue with the white wings. But the bleedtru Tips dave t provided in scale auto helps prevent that.
The China gp had 4 of the little winglets by the mirror but at spain they had 6 so i scratch built the front 2
On the fujimi instructions they want you to attach the side intakes after painting but on the real car they are molded onto the monacone. (the f10 and f150 werent)
Needless to say there has been alot of filling in on this kit. speaking on filling in gaps the front nose is 4 separate parts that need to look like 1 whole part lol
Another mod i have done is the rear cowl, the kit has the exhaust exit as part of the engine cover this is incorrect as that is supposed to be part of the lower half of the rear body work to form the exhaust panel
So i separated it from the cowl and blended it to the correct panel
I painted all the black parts for when i get the carbon fiber decals there is something for the decal to stick to.
The rear wing side plates were a pain to paint but i think i nailed it
The rest of the scheme is decals and carbon fiber work
The Red is ts-85 ferrari f60 red its what they have been using since fernando and santader came on board. its a bright red with a very faint blue pearl to it. its hard to see in picture and that why many argue the car is the same red as schumachers cars.
Heres a mock up the panel fit is the best i have seen on a fujimi yet!
