I'm a Mopar muscle model car builder just getting my feet wet in NASCAR builds. It seems like many of you who are building the new Revell Freaky Fast Fusion are adding a front splitter. Is it the same size for all racetracks/set ups? What are some of the other mandatory corrections you make to that kit to make it more accurate?

Out of the box, it is pretty accurate , a couple of things you can do is add the roll bars that Revell forgot to do, the missing roll bars are, its the one with the red arrowthe next ones are have the red marks on them, and while we are back here, the wedge adjustment bolts, they are marked with the x's, I borrowed this photo from one the NASCAR Facebook groups The other you can add is the fuel lines ( you need to remove the molded in one first) For the roll bars, the closet size is Evergreen rod stock size 1/16th , you can use that size too for the fuel lines, for the adjustment bolts, you can use Rod size.025 The tires, if you are able to , use different tires, the kit tires suck. The ride height needs to be lowered for both front/rear and the front tire stick out past the fenders, that needs to be address.

For the front splitter just get the thinnest sheet plastic you can find and trace the shape of the front nose onto it.. The superspeedway splitter is different from the ones used at the regular tracks but you can easily find pics of both..
