While I not a fan of the "pony" cars, It does look really nice, a hell of a lot better than the X series version.

I like it. I've never been a fan of the Taurus/Fusions, Luminas/Impalas, to me sedans should be in the touring car series and NASCARS should be sports/cars. I'm ok with brands using the same name in more than one series. Mustangs and Camaros in the Trans Am series and the WeatherTech sports car series (IMSA) support races, so NASCAR is ok for me. Now, if Chevy is gonna use the Camaro, Ford needs to use the Mustang, does that mean Toyota will have to resurrect the Supra??? That would be awesome.

I have no issues with the sedan's in NASCAR, doenst bother me one bit, but I also have no issues with sedans in real life, the sedan's fit in what is going on in the automotive world though, coupes are becoming a thing of the past, sedans and crossovers are where its at right now. Lets be honest, at the end of the day, there is no difference between the Camaro and the SS in NASCAR, its just a body over a purpose built chassis. I guess I am the odd one out, pony cars do nothing for me these days. |
