Yeah, not surprised, but oh well. As far as silly season goes- think Kurt stays at SHR? Danica? Kenseth to Furniture Row? Could get interesting.

My thoughts
Kenseth to the #5 Busch stays in the #41 Kahne to the #10 Almirola stays in the #43 Biffle stays bye bye Danica goes bye bye but gets to victory lane every so often when Ricky wins here and there FRR #77 goes bye bye

lololol @ you're Danica prediction, Brandon. So true though. She never got a ride based on merit or talent, should've been canned long ago IMO.
Surely Hendrick won't go with Byron in the 5. Sure he's good, but so young.
I see Almirola staying put as well. As much as I like Petty, that's about the highest caliber driver he's gonna pay for or get with that equipment.

Since the "im shocked" joke has already been played, I wont, but anyone that is surprised by this has had their head in sand for the last few years.
All I know is I hope HMS does not move Byron up yet, the kid has talent, but needs more seat time in the lower series still.

Read Byron is supposed to be the replacement. I know there's a "youth movement", but it's a joke in my opinion lol

I get it- longevity-wise, it makes sense. To lock down Erik Jones rather than Kenseth makes sense, just for the fact that he'll be around for years to come. Part of it, just one of the times when it's seeming to be a shift in eras or whatever.

And the youth is doing it for less money.

Not surprised Bryon is going to #5, he is doing pretty good in the lower series, and I am pretty sure he is bringing his sponsorship with him, so that probably paid a roll, since both of the current main sponsors are gone at the end of the year.
Yes, the youth movement is on, and its only getting started, things are going to get interesting the next few years.

Kahne is not out at Hendrick, just the #5. Hendrick is still paying Kahne's salary and said he is working to find Kasey a ride for next year.
Now GMS (who has been rumored to be moving to Cup and have a technical alliance with JRM, aka Hendrick Lite) is having a special new conference tomorrow.
Things that make you go hmmmm. Kahne to GMS with Hendrick backing?
