Greetings all.
First off, I found this board from "that other board" that others seem to be a part of too.
I'll put it right out to start, I'm not really a NASCAR guy. I dont have a favourite team or driver so I dont have any opinions one way or another about any team/driver in NASCAR. That said, I do love race cars, and NASCAR does have some cool liveries. I also like how team/drivers dont just have one livery per season, so lots of opportunities to build lots'o'cars. As far as brands go, Im definitely a Ford guy so with the release of the new Ford Fusions, is probably what has lead me back to building some NASCARs. My last build, till just recently was about 18yrs ago....so it's been awhile.
My main interest in motorsports in GT cars. I love endurance road racing. IMSA, WEC, Blancpain etc. Le Man, Sebring, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring are the tracks that I know and love. I also have a big interest in vintage racers, especially Trans-Am cars from the late '60s and early '70s along with vintage road race cars too, GT 40's, and my favourite car of all time Shelby Cobra Daytona.
Looking forward to seeing what people are doing here, and sharing some of my latest work. I've got a build going right now of one of the new Fusion kits so I'll post up a WiP of it shortly, even though I'm coming into the home stretch on it.
