Can't say I'm surprised but hate to see him go. Thoughts on his replacement? And if Kahne will be in the 5 next year?

Bowman seems to be the name coming up most for the 88? Edwards has said it is not him. There seems to be a lot of young drivers coming up. Not sure were he stands with his contract with his current team but Kyle Larson might be the one? Kane I would say his days are numbered in the #5.

Yeah. I like Kahne but he just never produced wins the way I expected.
I think Bowman has earned it. Think Byron is too young. I mentioned Larson to my dad- I know he'd said in the past he's stuck with Ganassi out of loyalty...but I wonder if Hendrick knocking on the door might change that.

Stewart wanted Larson in the #14 but he could not get out of the contract. I am sure if Larson gets the chance at the #88 he will jump on it. I am thinking his contract at Gannassi is up at the end of the year?

Surprised but not surprised. My opinion is Bowman deserves the ride.

Jayski has Larson signed through 2017. But with CGR building their own chassis' this year and look how well they are running, that might not be an automatic move.
