So, I have to attack this build with some new skills that I never done before. The pinstriping is way too small to be painted on (with crisp lines) to I'm going to try doing it with colored tape. The two questions I have are: 1. Is it possible to use tape and clear over top and NOT be able to pull up the tape thru the clear coat?? This is my BIGGEST concern! 2. How can I terminate the pinstriping EXACTLY at the line of the gold trim around the hood outline? Gold trim will be decals. Should I apply gold trim OVER blue pinstriping tape? If anyone has ever used tape for pinstriping, any suggestions would be golden, and much appreciated!!

I would do the pinstripes as a one piece decal, that way all the spacing stays the same.

Unfortunately thats not possible. I was able to get the main decals thru a VERY GENEROUS member (here) a long, long, long time ago. Pinstripes did not come with them, which Im more than OK with. I just have to take the long road which is not a problem, just wanted to figure out a game plan. The striping continues over the hood, on the roof and down the trunk. It also has striping on the A,B,C panels, which would mean a complete wrap would be needed. Im happy to do it by hand, if its possible without pulling up after clear. Thanks though!

If you have not applied the decals to the car yet, you could but some pinstripe decals on first under the main decals.

Didn't I make those for you? You certainly did! I know its been forever ago, but had a health issue, then sooooooo many other builds to do and now I'm into the #55 stuff, although I have a ton more to do! I REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate you doing these for me!!!! Now I hope I dont "F" it all up now. When I get it done, I will share. Thanks again J!

Didn't I make those for you? Thanks to you..... once its done..... it might be the only REAL version out there (that I've seen). Another maker out there has an version thats not right at all, which would be unacceptable for my collection. Thanks again brother!

Np. And I'm pretty sure I have that artwork stashed away in a folder somewhere, so if you do fuck something up, let me know.
