I picked up some Tamiya putty and used it but I think I perfer squadron. What do you like pros and cons.? it seems the Tamiya takes longer to dry and shrinks.

Squadron white. Apply thin coats, let dry then apply more if needed. Applying too much, a thick application, can shrink/crack when drying.
I tried 2 part automotive body filler and felt the effort was too much for as little filling as I do. But for a large project, say filling nose grill for new Revell SS kit, that would be the way I would go. Automotive body filler does shrink, but in 1/24 scale it is not noticeable.
