Hey guys. Thanks to Stoney for the new spot, and to Reystdawg for the heads up this morning.
My name is Steve Smith and I reside in Chesterfield, MI. I'm a mechanical engineer and avid NASCAR fan. I have been exposed to stock car racing for over 30 years with my dad working for a few local late model, ARCA and NASCAR teams throughout the 80s and early 90s. I myself have been involved a little, helping a friend for a season in late models and a single ARCA race. Just to make it clear, I believe the "good old days" of NASCAR are right now. If you think the racing was better and the drivers were better in a different era, I respectfully think you are full of shit.
Dad taught me to build models when I was about 3 years old. I think my first kit was the #33 Harry Gant Skoal Monte. These days I buy more kits, decals and supplies than I build/use.
Hoping that this will be a fun experience and that it takes off quickly.
