Running the race Sunday morning was great for me as I had a wedding Sat. night. Just made my daily stop at Randy's board and was not surprised by the typical post race shenanigans over there. I really wish these people would stop watching. I thought the race was pretty good. For the drivers, puting yourself in the right spot on track seems more important at the restrictor plate tracks now more than ever. Passing for the lead looks tricky. Great job by Almirola and team to position themselves properly and hold off the charge at the end. Right call to end the race there. Had Stenhouse not lost it early, and Biffle not been knocking the bumper cover off Kahne's car, the race may have run to completion.

I agree with you Smitty, I was telling Damon and Stoney the other day I read two threads over on Randy's and felt my blood pressure rise. It's not the product on track or Nascar that's ruining the sport, it's asshats like Dave and Tom post at Randy's with their death of Nascar crap. Thought it was a typical Daytona race. Glad to see that 43 in Victory Lane

What are you talking about Chris? Those 2 know everything going on in the sport. They seem to be the authority figures for all things in the sport, including what model kits/decals sell... Their opinions of Current Nascar remind me much of a non fans argument "watching cars go in circles for hours is boring" There was a rant on the other forum under the "Nascar Racing" section titled "The State of Racing" made me laugh and want to punch a wall all at the same time. |

Not to hijack Smittys thread here, but damn it feels good knowing the fact this thread won't be deleted or locked due to a Mod for wanting to play nice and not offend their friends when someone else has a problem with them

NASCAR is fixed!! Once the 43 was in the lead they used the Air Titan to shoot water over the track to make it look like it was raining!!

i tried in the state of nascar post but i was told i miss understood them. he went on rant about red bull winning every race in f1 this year!?! they cant even get there own facts right.

Gotta have a controversy so all the so-called "experts" over at Randy's can stand on their soap boxes and postulate to the heavens about what is wrong with NASCAR. Truth of the matter is, there is shit wrong with every single sport -none of them are perfect. Those know-it-all Dbags just need to STFU and enjoy the sport for what it is, warts and all. Good call on ending the race-a lot of those folks had to get home and go to work on Monday. Keeping them there until 2 a.m. would have solved nothing and just pissed off everyone else. Good race IMHO. |
