Hello everyone,
I was able to pick up decals for both years of the #5 Looney Tones. Not sure who designed them, they look great! I need help now, what is the best color match for these two cars?
Thanks so much Don

Where did you get the decals for the cars? I bought the original artwork for the '01 car and fixed some issues with it, and as far as I know I am the only one who made the decals for the '02 car.
But to answer your question, the blue is Tamiya TS-50 Mica Blue. On the '01 car, the blue fades into a pale yellow, and on the '02 car the blue fades into white.

Stoney,
I am part of a few nascar and model FB groups, one of the members was thinning out his private collection. He had a bunch of decals up for sale.
Thank you for the info on the paint.
I have a couple of the looney tunes decals for the 1 and 24 cars, are any others available?

Can you share pics of the sheets?
The only Looney Toons sheets I did were for the #5 and the #48.

I am not sure how to post photos from my phone. I can try.
This hasn't caused any issues I hope?

No, not at all. I am just curious what the sheets look like if they aren't mine.
As for posting pics, if you use Photobucket, you can upload the pic to your album there, then select share on that pic, and it will give you some links. Use the one labeled IMG and you can that link in the thread and it will show your picture. It is a lot easier than the way it sounds. lol

Yup, those are mine. That '02 set is the first decals I ever made. The '01 sheet is the original artwork I purchased from Three Amigos. Both sets were printed by John Barker. This was LONG before I purchased my own printer.

Is there anything special I need to know before I apply them. I see there is not a white back decal, what about micro set or sol and clear coating things like that. These are the only ones I have and in really don't want to screw them up.

If you do happen to screw something up, or need additional sets, I can sell ya a new set of either decal.
I don't use Micro Sol/Set. I use Solvaset. HobbyTown carries it for cheap. Pretty much the same thing as Micro Sol/Set, just better. lol.
The White is all there, the decals are just printed on clear paper that has a white backing.

Thank you so much Stoney. Reystdawg has been helping out with a few things also. I am trying to build all the cars that ran in 2002 also a couple of the 01 cars. I have found the #29 and looking for a few others. I was lucky to find the #5.
