Anybody ever messed with 3D printing at all? Some sites will let you design and print, right? Not sure if it's above my skill level, but would be nice to create some splitters that way haha

I've used it quite a bit. I design every day in Solidworks 3D modeling software. I've had some pieces 3D printed.

Cool. I thought you'd mentioned doing something along those lines. Some of the sites, i.e. shapeways have software you design it with on their site? I'm no expert but good enough with computers...would be handy to have a few small parts on hand, that way- splitter, efi module or whatever it's called, roof camera etc. I'll do some messing around.

Is that how you made your axle caps? Been fooling around on one of those sites. Will take practice.

I printed some of the "hubs" but wasn't crazy about them. That was mainly because I used the wrong material. I've printed several other items from Shapeways and have been quite please with them.

My other hobby is collecting wrestling belts. I have been using 3D printing to make customs name plates for people in the hobby. I use NX 9 to design the parts and shapeways to print. They have multiple material options which work out pretty good.
