Now it's my turn for help. Every Camaro diecast I disassemble, I break the damn trunk blade. It's only on Camaros? Anyone have anything they use to replace broken ones? I can't find right angle clear plastic anywhere that size.

I seen over on DiecastCrazy where some people have tried cutting them from old CD cases. Might be worth a shot.

Man, I've had the same problem lately. I have a sheet of clear plastic styrene or whatever I got at Hobby Lobby forever ago, .080" or something. I just cut a piece out and sand it to get my angles right. It has protective film on both sides so it looks good. Used it for Windows on my Pearson Cyclone. The plastic stuff was across from the model kits the the metal rods/sheets when I got it.

Brandon, as a last resort, if you can't find a suitable "clear" replacement, I've used the Evergreen right angled white plastic and painted it the same color as the trunk lid. Depending on the size of the material, you will to make a few modifications to the replacement piece so it would sit snug to the rear spoiler, then just used a couple of dots of super glue to hold it place. Hope this helps!

Maybe if it was a Ford it wouldn't break.

Maybe if it was a Ford it wouldn't break. Your right, you can't break something that doesn't work to begin with
