Kentucky is finally getting the repave they have been rumored to be doing the last couple years. Adding more banking to turns 1 and 2, leaving 3 and 4 as is, fresh asphalt, more safer barriers, and better drainage. And its all expected to be done before race weekend. Should be interesting with both ends of the race track being completely different. And you can't go wrong with more safer barriers.

I haven't missed a cup race at Kentucky since the first one in '11. I have always enjoyed the racing there. I love all the bumps because it gives the track character. I also hope the bumps stay, but I know they will be toned down a lot with the new pavement. I think that is why they are adding more banking to 1 and 2.
