Can these cars be stripped the same way as a normal car? Found some cheap ones on eBay.

The color...yes. The chrome...no. With that said, if they are cheap I'd still take them. Just scuff the chrome with some scotch pads.

Exactly what Brandon said. You treat them like a normal diecast, just have to rough up the chrome surface so the primer has something to grab on to.

Having some issues with the chrome. Soaking it over the weekend to see if I can the remaining paint off.
And no kidding. It's a $18 snap kit that was rumored to be similar to the CoT. What more was expected? That's why you can buy tire logos and gauges lol. But hey, people will get mad, not buy any, then act surprised when Revell leaves the sport again after this contract.

They just always have to have something to complain about. That is the way it has been recently. I promise it did not used to always be like that. There was a new breed that came in and ran all of the veteran builders away. That is a big reason why Clay K, Dave T, and Jay S. never post or have anything to do at all with that place. It is ridiculous. I never thought the day would come that I would not want anything to do with them, but it has come and passed.

these new Revell Fusions are just what I want. Im a auto painter by trade so I like to paint  Never did to much detail on the chassis. always like the body and decal part. Im a Ford guy. I dont have a GM or Yota kit on my shelves. |
