It amazes me how many people think WE are the group that wanted Randy's gone. It is not an issue of us wanting the forums gone. Hell, I still go there just to see what some are building and for other useful information. The problem with over there are the people who are stuck in the '70s and '80s and want nothing to do with anything newer. Also the people who continue to bitch and cry about the state of the hobby, yet you NEVER see them post a build or WIP or anything. There is one other person over there I have a MAJOR issue with, but I won't get into that.
None of us here have ever wanted those forums gone, just certain people and practices.

I hope "we" are not the ones drppr and Ricky Moore are referring to "grow up". They Might need to look at the definition of "growing up" before using such big words.
As for mhadman said "if you don't like it here, then leave". Most of us have! Now that Randys is back up, look back at post from 3 years ago. Most of us are over here now or have lost interest because you can only take looking at the same '70s kits and decals being reproduced. Fuck em

Makes sense. Somebody posted about the new Revell kits and there was already a "I'll only buy one kit and build it as is (no decal ordering) because NASCAR sucks nowadays" type of comment. Gripe about the hobby, but won't pony up when NASCAR gets back into it lol

Makes sense. Somebody posted about the new Revell kits and there was already a "I'll only buy one kit and build it as is (no decal ordering) because NASCAR sucks nowadays" type of comment. Gripe about the hobby, but won't pony up when NASCAR gets back into it lol And that's the type mentality we're talking about. |
