Dave has been about as condescending as 1 person can towards most of us on this board when we were active at Randy's. There is a long history. None of us were ever right with anything to do with the sport because of his "insider" info and his "connections." I know what his "connections" were and I'm sorry to say for him, because of what I do for a profession, I am a lot more connected to Nascar "insiders" than he is. I just don't go throwing it around like he does. Dave along with a few others over there are a big reason this board was formed. We were tired of being bashed for having differing opinions. Nothing we ever said or did was right in the "old dogs" eyes. At one point on the Spotlight board there was a discussion of why some of the younger crowd (by that I mean 25-35) was leaving the hobby. One reason is beacause of guys like those at Randy's. I was ready to throw in the towel and give up a hobby I had known since I was 5. Not because of comments toward anything I had built, but because of the overall dick attitude. There is a lot more, but I won't go in to it. If you like Dave that's fine. I don't. Pretty much never have and definitely never will. Do I have animosity over how me and several others were treated in the past? Damn right I do. Will it subside? Maybe. But if you ask over "there," we were the problem children that caused all the drama and wanted the board to fail. I don't think any of us wanted that board to fail. There is a ton of great, useful information there. I just refuse to have any further discussions there because of the "I'm right and your wrong, dick" attitude.

Yea guys I see your point. Don't blame you a bit as I too felt that way a couple times. I'm still modeling but haven't built a car in over a year. I'm hoping this board and the new kits coming out will spark something I lost.
