Well I think this Jeff Gordon 1991 Penrose Olds is ready for the decals I finally got it all painted. I had to fill in two groves that ran across each door with bondo and sand it down of course. Then I painted it with a bright red and the bottom is Testors Chrysler Yellow. The wheels were chrome so I painted them black like the real race car. If anyone has any tips for me on applying the decals I'm all ears, thanks so much everyone for your help with all of my questions. Attachments:

Add a drop or two of dish soap to your water. It helps the decals slide around easier. Also keep your water as warm as possible.

Thanks Brandon that sounds like a good idea. One other question do you put all the decals on at once and what is the best side to start with and end with for example should I start with the sides and end with the top? Thanks again

I usually do my decals in stages. I start where ever the mood strikes.
