I was going to look this up on google but I thought Hey I could go on here and it's a way to say Hey Anyway is it okay to paint when it's humid out? It's been in the 30% which makes me wonder if its bad for painting.

I paint no matter what the weather is like. But I also put my bodies in a dehydrator after I spray them.

As long as it's not raining, I paint. I don't have a dehydrator, but I have an infared paint booth hear lamp.

I paint whenever, but I try to make sure there is not a chance of rain....I have had bodies fog up on me when it rained right after I put on a coat of paint. Otherwise hotter the better and always warm your cans if using a rattle can. Just use a pot of hot water and let it sit in there for a few minutes. It helps to atomize the paint when you paint and give better coverage.

Yes always warm up the can. It helps the paint flow better.

Yes always warm up the can. It helps the paint flow better. and if you're spraying a metallic paint, it will help separate the metallic flakes when you shake the can. As bigdaddy says, "Always warm up the can."

Just use warm water out of the faucet? and how long does it have to sit in there? I guess you have to make sure you do not mix up the caps because the paper on the can will come off with the water.

I always warm some water on the stove to right before it boils. Steam coming off of it. Let it sit in the water for 5 minutes and good to go.

Enamels can be sprayed at 90+% humidity. lacquer paint is what give us trouble in high humidity. it will "blush" as we call it...fog up..turn white... Enamel can be sprayed over about anything. Lacquer can only be applied to itself. Lacquer of Enamel will wrinkle.
