Looks good. I don't know about you, but I hate how Action did the chassis and engine plates on the Gen 6 diecast.

Thanks man. Honestly, don't have any older Actions. Never really got into the Diecast until now, had just done kits. But I agree, not to keen on the chassis and engine stuff. Pain in the but to disassemble, and virtually no engine detail lol

That's a lot better than the new ones. Are the newer elites similar to the new standard cars or more like that one?

Never messed with a new elite. Even the standard diecast of the older models is better than the newer stuff.

I don't know if they are still on sale, but Nascar.com had some Chevy Gen6 Elites on sale for $40. They were the SHR 2013 test cars.

I believe so. The Lionel site has a special deal on them too. And the decals I've used so far are great. Can't wait to get the body painted.
