I guess this will be my first question if anyone can help. I was told to use a Pledge floor care finish and I bought one and used it on my first test custom die-cast and it wrinkled the decals. The one I used is pic here. I read to not use one for wood and the multi-purpose was the best I could find so I bought it. Does anyone know what would be best to use and where I could pick it up at? Thanks so much

I previously used Future, but I have since changed to using Krylon crystal clear gloss.

I use Future, and have had zero issues. The pic of what you have, should be pretty much the same stuff I am using.
I have only used the Krylon Crystal Clear on ornaments I've made for my mom for the mini-Christmas trees she makes, but have had zero issues with it also.

Thanks Stoney, the stuff I bought which is in the pic above did not work well. I was told to not use anything for wood floors. The one I got is for wood and tile and it wrinkled my decals. I looked for the Future and could not find it anywhere so I guess my question here is were do you get yours from? Thanks so much guys.

Doin My 1st custom using FUTURE for clear coat. Hope all goes well and NO issues with decals, but very unsure at this point. Its probably me, but I have had issues with ALOT of clears including Krylon (yellowing), Tamiya (sometimes too hot), soooooo now trying future. All ahve positives and negatives, and the issues are hit and miss on every custom, so I'm really looking for a consistent product! For those who have used Future...... what is the handling time after application? Is it quicker or about the same as the others?? Also, I used a foam brush for applying. Is that the way to go, or by airbrush? Thanks for any input!

A key to anything you put over decals is to apply the first few coats VERY light. After a few build up coats and they are dry, then you can wet coat. A wet coat right over decals can cause decals to lift. I tried using Future and it went on ok, but seriously cracked after about 3-4 months and Future yellows after time. I now use Tamiya and Testers clears using 2-3 light airbrushed coats, wet sanding between and then airbrush a wet coat with a rub-out.
