It’s ok Billy, round sided were designed early on and reflect if I remember correctly more of a Busch series car rounding at the bottom of the body. The slab side body sits more flush against the cage and is more accurate for the 1995-99 Monte Carlo

Hey Reyst,
Thanks for the information. I was wanting to build was Earnhardt's 98 Daytona Win car and was going to use Dale Jr.'s 98 AC Delco kit as the donor. With your information I went and put the body on the chassis and I can see the body is definitely rounded or at least it does to me. I know that there is a kit of Earnhardt's 98 Dayton Win car, I was just trying to get away with just buying the decals.
Thanks again for your help, Billy

I know for a fact that this Terry Labonte kit has the slab side body.

If the parts list has chrome parts it is a round side kit.
