I was wondering if anyone knows how many qualifying laps each car made during the early 1980's NASCAR races at Riverside. Was it one or two? Thanks for any info.

I would think two laps. One leaving the pits and then the main one?

Yes, I was not counting the warm-up lap but the actual timed lap or laps. At the ovals they made two actual timed qualifying laps. I was just wondering if they did the same at Riverside or if they only made one qualifying timed lap.
