Hello, nice site!

I am new here but not to modelling. My first memory of modelling was way

back doing one of my first models, "The Mummy". I remember my older sisters

were in their room listening to the radio, some "I want to hold your hand" song

was the newest craze. I then went to AMT 3 in 1 kits, Polar Lights, Aurora, then

on to Revell, Monogram and Lindberg with a sprinkling of Hawk. I modeled to the

70s, had a family, divorced, got back into modeling in the late 80s and 90s then

discovered Tamiya, Hasegawa, Airfix and photo etch then scratch building. I am

now retired, just finished a ton of Bf-109s, F4Us, F-86s, German armor, ships and

am now back to cars and Revell 1/24 NASCAR in particular. I will be starting a Mark

Martin Folgers car as soon as I finish up my Petty, Elliot and Fireball projects.---John
