Since my local Ollie's had kits on the cheap, I thought I'd plug more holes in my Gen 6 Petty collection. Thanks to Marks great MPR decals, here are the 2013 and 2014 STP Fords driven by Aric Almirola. Tamiya French blue and Kyrlon red glowing orange fluorescent for the paints. Mark did a white underlay sheet, which really helped the whites over the fluorescent paint. The photos don't do the numbers justice, they look white!

Have you ever had an issue mixing two paint manufacturers? Last I tried, I got cracking/spiderwebbing in it.

I've had problems with layering paint, regardless of manufacturers. With my Petty builds now, the blue and red are never shot over each other. I get a good white primer base, mask, shoot the red, let it dry, mask, shoot a clear coat to seal the masking tape, then spray the blue.
