I forget..which is the one you apply first to get the decal to squish down to say, roof flap lines?

Reason I posted is because the last car I did was a 2003 diecast. I used some slixx decals..they were fine except for having air under the roof flap line.

I have some of that too...so apply before applying or after? I put it down BEFORE for complex curves/flaps/seams.

You put down the Micro-"Set" first,on the surface you are getting ready to decal. Then apply decal & apply Micro-"Sol" on top of decal. It will wrinkle the decal but leave it alone & will dry snug & flat.

My personal favorite is Mr Mark Softener, OMG does it work, so good that I have ruined a handful decals, but seriously, It works great.

Very interesting Phee...Thanks for the heads up! No problem BD , it is in my opinion one of the best decal setting solutions on the market, I love it, because it works so good, the window you have to make any last minute corrections is very small, Ive ruined a number of decals because I was being all handsy and wouldnt leave it alone.
If you are interested in trying, I am going to provide a link for the ebay seller I get mine from , get the two pack, just dont ask what the blue one is used for, I thinks like a glue more than a setting solution.
Ok, the seller I use is sold out right now I believe
Here is a Ebay search for it.
I actually filmed a setting solution comparison video using the NASCAR tire decals, but it didnt come out very good so I binned it, I compared, Mr Hobby's, Tamiya's ( normal and strong) and Micro Set/SOl

What is the difference with Mr Mark "softener" and Mr Mark "setter"... do you use both?
