Chase SS kit, Stoney's decals ( waiting for them to ship), Gravity Rosso Scuderia ( a bit too bright but I'm going with it) Gravity Titanium Black (to follow shortly). Decals for tire details (no pic yet) from Powerslide. Sorry, pics are alittle on the shitty side. Hoping to get more done tonight.

After a couple of hours I decided I wasn't happy with the shade of red, it was just too bright. So I sanded it out and found another one. Should of gone with this one first I think. Scale Finishes Chevrolet Red Hot. Once I put on the pearl mid coat and clear I think it will be pretty close to spot on for JR's car. I'll have to wait a couple more hours now to mask and paint the black roof. Then I can top it off with the pearl mid coat and clear. Since Jason had some issues with decal paper everything will have time to cure before decals arrive.

Paint is done. Roof was masked and shot with Scale Finishes black then unmasked and hit with four coats of pearl mid coat. I'll leave this to set up and then top it off with some clear to seal in the pearl while I wait for decals to arrive. I have some SEM chassis grey on order and will mask off and paint the inside of the body to match the chassis later in the week.

Nice! I'm keeping an eye on this build, not because it's a JR, but, because I have a SS build coming up. Teach me the force Obi Wan.

Nice! I'm keeping an eye on this build, not because it's a JR, but, because I have a SS build coming up. Teach me the force Obi Wan. Thanks. Keep an eye out for mold lines. They're faint but once you get paint on they tend to pop back up. 1- Front bumper near the headlights best to get a coat of light grey primer on to make them more visible. 2- Rear quarter..on the flat ledge at the base of the rear quarter window. 3- Rear quarter right before the quarter wraps around to the rear bumper a line runs down the quarter. Those are the three major spots on the body, and they're faint almost impossible to see on the white plastic. I use Tamiya sanding sponges, 400 then 600 then a 1000 if needed. Great cause they dont have hard edges like paper and conform to the body details without rubbing them out . Good luck.

Thank you, I will spray a light coat of primer on to look for them.
