After starting on a few NASCAR/Truck kits it was time to get back to my first love, GT cars. Once I get a good jump on this I'll be going back to my NASCAR builds and try to wrap them up. I've got a set of Stoney decals coming in next week to do Jimmie's Camaro so I need to wrap some projects up. Kit is Platz (NuNu) with BeeMax BMW M6 GT3. This is the winning car from the 24 hrs of Spa in 2016. It's a nice kit, not Tamiya quality but for those that don't build kits from Asia it's on par with a Revell kit, maybe a bit better. If interested you can click on this LINK and check out the box contents. There is also a nice detail set made by Platz for this kit. It has a nice PE sheet, some turned metal parts and three sheets of diecut CF decals as well as fabric for the seatbelts. Paint is Gravity Colors Titanium white. Clear is not done yet, but for now some pics of where I am at. Pirelli tire decals are in the kit but the rest are from Powerslides modern race car tire sheet. I added the coloured stripes to the spokes even though Rowe Racing didn't run them on the car. I've since matte varnished the tire decals (not yet done in the pics) and still need to detail out the center lock nuts. That's it for now. I still need to clear then mask and paint window trim. Hoping to get that done later tonight. Thanks for looking in.

After sitting for like 2 months I've got back on this project. Picked up some automotive clear to try out. Brand is Pro Form, never heard of it before, from the local supply store. So far not, bad. I need to wet sand it out a bit to get rid of some crap I got in the clear but for the price, I'm happy. I'll detail the body up tomorrow some and then get to work on the chassis.
