Here’s my first Fusion since last year. Getting started on it as I wrap up an old Busch series build. This is as far as I’ve gotten for now.

Why is this taking you so long? Tommy Boy would have built the car 3 times by now

I have had 2 sitting with stripper on them for 2 weeks already and cannot find time to scrape it off.

Sorry I’m not living up to the ultimate modeling standard lol. I’m slow moving any more, life’s been too hectic to rush through a build haha

He built 3 while I was typing this. Mind you, he didn’t fill a single seam or sand a mold line down, but he got them built, by god, and that’s what matters!

Everytime my phone beeps three times in a row with Facebook updates I automatically know that it's Tom posting something new to every Nascar modeling site.
But onto to other matters. I'm not a Stenhouse fan by any means but this is one of the coolest paint schemes I've seen; this and the Go Bowling scheme. I've been meaning to pick up both sheets to build one day. Looking forward to your progress.

Thanks, everyone. 1320wayne, I’m right there with you- don’t have stromg feelings for him either way. I like that he owns a dirt track team, seems down to earth, etc., but not really “my guy”...though, I’m not really sure who that is with Junior gone haha. He filled the void Mark Martin left haha. ANYWAY, done with all the painting. AC at the house is on its last leg and will need to be replaced soon, so purchasing decals may get delayed, but I’ll use two sets of Stoney’s, as soon as possible. I know the TV panel has a decal, but figured painting it yellow would prevent some bleed through and any tears around the curves wouldn’t be as visible. Critiques welcome too!
