Hi all. Glad I found this forum. I used to be active on Randy Ayers forum but I banned myself (2011) after I’d had enough of a certain member. Anyway, I still watch racing every week and build regularly.
I’m a Hendrick fan but like others as well.

Dave Van. They deleted the disagreement. After JR won Michigan in the Batman car, I was happy and posted in the Racing Discussion section & he said that they let him win. I replied “that is the dumbest comment ever made on RAMF & that I’d appreciate him not commenting on my posts.” He went off saying that he had been in nascar for 100 years and that I should keep my comments to myself.
I replied that I would keep my comments to myself because I was done participating on that board. I haven’t since. I’ll look at builds over there from time to time but that’s it.

i do find it funny they are down. Like Modeljunky here, i like checking out others builds, and sometimes i find a kit or something someone is selling there that i want, but rarely participate there.

Oh no Stoney, you are not the only one that despises Dave Van, God's gift to everything Nascar and modeling related. The man is a self delusional prick!! Perhaps the final straw for me is when he said he had a special appreciation for Bill Elliott, because Bill Elliott got into Nascar at the same time he did!! Yes, when I think of Nascar legends I put Dave Van right up there with Bill Elliott. I mean what the hell?!!
With Randy's being down, I'm surprised Dave Van hasn't solved the problem. On numerous occasions he hasn't mentioned his expertise with computers, internet, and all things IT related. Oh wait, he's probably too busy writing that tell all Nascar book he keeps promising he's going to write.
Ahhh, been awhile since I had a good Dave Van rant. Welcome aboard Modeljunky, you've joined a great place!

I use Randy's site like some others have mentioned here and have never dealt with dave van personally........ but does seem to be pretty full of himself in a lot of posts, may be a nice guy, I dunno

I assumed Randy’s was down from the strain of holding up Dave Van’s ego since the last server upgrade.
