Its NASCAR related , as it transports the race cars to the track , I hope its ok for the this to be a WIP thread here, if not, then please delete. Anyways, so what I am building?( Current stock at Featherlite Trailers) 2018 model 1075 transporter Now, this will be number 6 overall that I have built, you dont want to see the first four, but here are the last two that I have built. This was built in 2013 And this one was done in 2015 Just like the last two , will be using floor plans from Featherlite , and I will be scaling down the numbers, I wont doing this as a 53 ft, it will be closer to 51 ft, or 24 inches long, that is so it matches the last one, as that one is 24 inches long as well. And here is what I call the evergreen trailer kit, various sizes of sheet plastic/ and other shapes, the only kit part that I will be using will be for the wheel's and tires, everything else I will make.

I'm really looking forward to watching this WIP. I'm familiar with your previous builds and this one should be off the charts.

Thank's guys I have not done a lot, starting with the floor/frame, using the .80 sheets, got them cut, now, I wont be going the full scale 53 ft, its going to be closer to 51 scale feet, it is going to be 24 inch's long, there are several reason why as to why I am not going to 53 ft. Cutouts for spread axle's , the rear part of the trailer And the front section, the steps are not final production steps, just made those as an aide. I need to make a trip to the LHS to get another I-Beam , so I am probably not going to make any progress till that point.

Spent some time last night working on the liftgate track system , I normally wait till later , but its one of the easier things to do and that was the mood I was in( something easy), the track system is made of L Channel I am sure there might be a better way to go about this, but after getting them cut, I play a game of Tetris and have something that looks like this, it takes three pieces . And attached to the inside And the slider piece that I will cut down later and it will be attached to the liftgate, simple I-Beam , or maybe H. And a undershot , I-Beams in place for that added extra strength and something to attached the axles too

Not easy to photograph this thing , but it kind of looks like a trailer now, still a lot of work left, I need to fill in the seams next, had to make some changes, and removed the I-Beams from the front axle forward, previous trailers , the way I mounted the sides had the bottom of the sides more below the frame/floor piece, I pretty much kept the bottom of the sides level on this one, so with the I-Beams, they got in the way of the some things, but I will still use for the axles and help in mounting them. Evergreen strips #109, .010x.250 was used on the sides where the sides are attached to the frame. And what I did to help get that curved shape on top of the gen compartment, sized up the PDF and printed it out and used that as template to cut the plastic, I wish I would of that of that before the first too attempts Look at the storage compartments between the spread axles.

looks pretty damn good so far What that dude said. I like it Jonathan. I like it a lot. Now I'm definitely going to have to try one of these. Maybe after Christmas. I've got far too many projects on the go, and by then, you'll be done and I can just follow your build for my own

In order to to make the roof section, I needed to make the lift gate( to the overall length correct the liftgate is needed ) so started with .60 sheet L channel 295 and Strips 109 ( product numbers) The L channels are the ones on the inside, and the strips on the sides. And the gate extender, .60 and the beams is cut from .80 sheet And after some holes drilled, round stock inserted, its attached. And the pieces that will the liftgate will move up and down with
