Great build! Always nice to see the old schemes again. How did you get the tires off to paint the rim? These Gen6 cars are the best looking since since the 90s body style to git the track. I just run hot water over the tire/rim to soften them up. This is a gold series car...easier to get them off over the cars with opening deck lid and roof flaps...I screwed up getting one of those off😢 |

Completely agree. The COT was not visually appealing at all. A chunky box, with a huge wing.... Gonna look through my donor pile and see if I can get a retro one done with what I have. Gotcha, will try to do that and hopefully it goes well. Even if I break one, I'm sure I can reglue it and get it to just sit straight on a shelf. Thanks for the help, much appreciated!
