Snagged one of the Gen 6 Fusion promo cars for $8 plus shipping on eBay. Not sure who she'll be, yet. Trying to flare out the doors in front of the rear tires to get it looking realistic.   |

Put an old rag around the fender and used Channellocks to kind of flare it out without roughing up the metal. Debating if it needs a little more...thoughts?

You bet. 6 screws and body is off. This is the promo where the trunk and roof flaps don't open though.

Made a little progress. Not sure if I'll use red stripes or leave them off to look more like the '16 car. My red isn't quite wide enough for the hood decal, have some work to do.   |

thanks! your car is taking shape!! I picked up a Michael Mcdowell Fusion today for $28....looks like the same car you have but I onle see 4 screws. I was curious as any trouble getting the windows out?  |

In my experience the Windows usually pop out easily. Only issue I've had is popping the clear sail on the deck lid off. Easy to make a new one though if it breaks like mine did.

There will be 2 more screws under the radiator pan. You will have to pry up on it to break the glue bond.
