Picked up the blue douche kit earlier. Will post some pics later.

Not bad, for a snapper. The dark gray/metallic chassis and interior was kind odd but a quick coat of AS20 has her looking better. I'm not mad about the dash. EFI module or whatever is better than what we've got and it leaves room for customization.

I have the shell kit. Just waiting to see what decals come available. No sure who I would like to build? Maybe one of the back markers ...but wait that could be just about any of the fords?

I picked up 2 the other day. Slowly working on Keselowskis Miller High Life from Darlington between packing and getting ready for the move. The other will probably be Keslowskis other throwback, his MGD car from Michigan, but I won't start that till after we settle in

I picked one up as well. I am looking forward to the SS version for sure now. The kit looks great for a snapper. Adds and some more details can really make these pop. I will be doing the 24 stomper from Texas last year.

Have the new kits turned up at Hobby Lobby yet?

I was at Hobby Lobby a couple weeks ago and did not see them there, but I am not sure how soon they get new releases.

Haven't seen them here either. Michaels had some newer kits last time I went but none of these unfortunately.

Do people not realize that the kit body and the diecast are the same damn thing?

That's too hard to differentiate.

Do people not realize that the kit body and the diecast are the same damn thing? They're clearly the same. I just wanted to do one to see the kit. I'll probably hold off until there's a full detail release to get another. Like you'd mentioned before, it's sad but you can get a diecast cheaper....and I actually enjoy the body work and decals the most, so don't miss out on the small stuff.

I have been buying detailed diecast off eBay cheaper than the kit.

Yeah I'm the same way. Just bought 13 2014 diecast for $136. Retail on them was over $700.

Not sure if anyone has noticed this, but (not surprisingly) Revell dropped the fucking ball on the Fusion. They tooled it based on the 2013 Gen 6 Fusion Prototype, not the 2015 body.
Smooth grill, no hood flaps, (prototype had a cowl) wrong roof flaps, halfassed chassis from 1998 with dual exhaust that hasn't existed since the COT..... I can't wait to see how much they fuck up the SS.
Soooo.....is there any interest in a resin grill? I bought myself a dirt cheap diecast and was thinking about casting the grill. All you'll have to do is cut out the smooth Revell grill and the diecast grill is a drop in piece.
