Probably one of my favorite 48 paint schemes when it first ran back in 2007, Using John Barkers 2007 Kobalt sheet, which aparently was not sized to fit the 2006-07 body, so I am masking the black. This one is my test run for the ones I'm building for my collection and will be part of Damon Lester's 2007 full field project.  |

I've been using his guide in the other forum. Looks to be enough detail to make this dash look it's best. So glad revell eventually molded it to the dash

I've been detailing these since before he started ripping off tips and calling them his own. I just happened to use his as a guide for this one You are the 2nd person that's accused me of "ripping off tips and calling them his own". Hate to bust your bubble too reystdawg, but you are wrong. Look over at the old geezer forum and you'll see I started posting in 2006 and you can take this to the bank...............I HAVE NEVER STOLE, COPIED OR USED ANY PERSONS MODELING ideas that I didn't ask them before I started using them. As for the ignition boxes, everyone uses too large of a diameter, scale wise, for their ignition box wiring. I used very small diameter colored wires and drilled the boxes and coils and twisted the wires. All my own ideas, or asked of the person I saw who's ideas I wanted to use before I incorporated them.
It seems you, Brandon Miller, Stoney, danjc and a few others here are free to say what you really feel, which is the way Forums should be and it's been most informative reading the various threads tonight. But then again Dave Van and I are probably too busy looking for their dentures and hearing aides to come up with their response to half of the posts.
danjc, you won't have to worry about "I also can't say I will miss Mach2 saying him and Melba are moving for the 800th time, or what new car he got this week!! Won't happen here.

1st seems that maybe you need to tell some on the other board about a forum should be free to say what you please because a certain few there like to censor only a select few, but their buddies get to do as they please. 2nd I have never once said anything negative about you Mick so I don't know why your dragging me into it, but since you did, I will say this. Yes Ive made some harsh posts over there because I was getting tired of the same bullshit over and over again from Tom, Dave, Gary, Johnny, and a few others. Its all fun and games until you have a differing opinion from theirs and then you are chastised and stoned for it. You're right Mick, there is a ton of knowledge in older posts there, but that board has gone to shit over the past year because of a certain few, and it's just not worth the headache anymore. |
