Hey everyone, I have just got into making custom diecast just a few weeks ago I have been a huge Nascar fan since about 1996. I use to build models about 20 years ago and I'm am sure I need a refresher on the tricks of trade so I came across this forum on google and I hope it's a good fit for me. Thanks so much again everyone and I hope to have some nice pieces soon.

Thanks hotwheels and Damon, yes I am a huge Gordon fan and I hope to build all of the Gordon die-cast Lionel never made over the years. I already bought a nice displace case to put them in so it should be fun  |

Thanks hotwheels and Damon, yes I am a huge Gordon fan and I hope to build all of the Gordon die-cast Lionel never made over the years. I already bought a nice displace case to put them in so it should be fun Maybe if we get some plastic you can try your hand at some of those as well. Looks like a good possibility of 2013-?? cars coming soon. Also lots of pre COT stuff available for Jeff as well. If you ever need anything let me know. Damon |

What Damon failed to mention though, is that diecast is so much cheaper to do instead of plastic and takes nowhere near the time.

I may do a plastic model to see how I do I use to make a lot of them when I was teenage but I agree the die-cast building skips a lot of putting together small parts

Thanks Gordz I will be starting my first build this weekend and cannot wait to see the outcome using advice from everyone here I'm sure it will be Awesome. Congrats on your drivers championship last year what a perfect last two races to earn it.
