But how can Tom validate his life if he’s not cramming his builds down everyone’s throat? How will his ego get the stoking it needs? How can he lay his head down at night without being satisfied everyone knows he’s built/building one, too? it is kind of funny to see Tom and John out assing each other... Poor Tom, he is gonna have to find a new place get stroked............wait wut  |

ok, i've read this thread and have a question. If someone posts a build, and i reply with a " i'm building the same but have abc decals. are they better/worse than your xyz decals?" is that hijacking?

I wouldn’t think that’s hikacking, that seems like an honest question about the quality of materials for your build, but that’s just me.

ok, i've read this thread and have a question. If someone posts a build, and i reply with a " i'm building the same but have abc decals. are they better/worse than your xyz decals?" is that hijacking? I dont have an issue with that, I do not see it as hijacking, "you" are just trying to get some feedback and or help, nothing wrong with that. |

I vented about this once before and on my vent post, he posted one of his builds. I just gave up. But I agree, when you post your work, why the hell is it right to have someone post their shitty work on your post.

I vented about this once before and on my vent post, he posted one of his builds. I just gave up. But I agree, when you post your work, why the hell is it right to have someone post their shitty work on your post. Perhaps he’s letting you compare how much better your build is than his crap? |

I’ve considered making some comments along those lines when he has posted his slop on posts. Not that my builds are works of art, by any stretch, but I’d like to add the occasional “yeah, mine would look as nice as Tom’s if I quit filing seams or sanding mold lines, too”.

Something my dad told me growing up " if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all", meaning 'Thats a nice build, looks super.' and end it.
